Boards of Canada / The Campfire Headphase |
 カナダの坊主ことBoards of Canada。 「古いロードムーヴィーみたいにしたかった」 という、前作「Geogaddi」から３年半ぶりというニューアルバム。 いわゆるチルでアウトなニカを聴かしてくれる彼らですが、 これがもう、なんというか美しく淡くて、耳を傾けてると思わずトリップしてしまいそうで、ひたすらリピートしていてもずっと気持ちいい。そんな名盤です。 これまでの作品に比べて尖った音は少なくなっていますが、 今までになく生ギターを多く取り入れていて、その分人肌の様な温かさが感じられ、 彼ら特有の良質なメロディーラインをさらに際立たしています。 この曲がというよりもアルバム通して、ひとつの作品として聴ける。 そんな一枚にひさびさに出会いました。 長く聞ける一枚になりそうです。 エレグラ来ないかな〜。 試聴は WARPのサイトで全曲聴けます。 http://www.warprecords.com/?mart=WARP123 BECKのリミックスもいい仕事してます。 BECK「broken drum (boards of canada remix)」[mp3]  |
